Among Williams’ most popular workshops are “Once In a Lifetime…5 Steps to Living Your Best Life on Purpose,” and “Women in Transition!” In Williams’ book, “A Guide to Getting It: Branding & Marketing Mastery” she provides practical advice for marketing to women. Williams also provides training to those who are interested in acquiring women as clients, through an engaging session entitled, “Women Are Not Little Men…How to Market and Sell to Women!” In addition, through 1-1 coaching, Williams helps her clients create marketing plans targeting affluent boomer women.
As a former officer and Vice President for Ameriprise, she directed the implementation of the firm’s marketing agenda through 11,000 personal financial advisors. In this role, Williams has served as a keynote speaker at sales conferences as well as guest speaker/host at client and prospect events.
She has held a variety of leadership positions within Ameriprise including General Manager of the Affluent Client Group, leading the firm’s cross-organizational efforts, which increased market share while introducing Ameriprise Platinum Financial ServicesSM and Ameriprise Gold Financial ServicesSM. As media spokesperson, Williams represented the company on a variety of topics with the press and in corporate videos launching key campaigns driving participation to record levels.
As Vice President of Segment Marketing targeting the baby boomer generation, Williams created Kids, Parents and MoneySM, a program aimed at helping parents teach their children about money. Williams, a syndicated columnist, was invited to appear on national network television for her expertise on the subject of kids and money.
Williams received her Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and her Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from the College of St. Thomas. Williams also holds NASD securities licenses Series 7 & 24.
Living in Eden Prairie, Minnesota with her husband and their four daughters, Williams enjoys golfing, basketball, running, sky-diving, movies, traveling and spending time with her family. Williams actively works to achieve her once-in-a-lifetime list of challenges, adventures & life experiences. |
